Netflix revealed the official episode titles for Stranger Things Season 4.

Stranger Things Season 4 will finally hit Netflix in Summer 2022, and will pick up with the unfortunate lives of our friends from Hawkins, Indiana in the Spring of 1986. Roughly three years after the release of the third season, we will finally see where the characters have gone since then.

Along with the release of a new trailer teasing the new life for breakout character Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Netflix released a special Season 4 edition of the iconic Stranger Things title sequence. Here, we get the titles for all nine episodes:

“The Hellfire Club”

“Vecna’s Curse”

“The Monster and the Superhero”

“Dear Billy”

“The Nina Project”

“The Dive”

“The Massacre at Hawkins Lab”

“Papa”

“The Piggyback”

Part of the fun of episode titles for Stranger Things is how each feels like its own singular story despite its run as a connective narrative throughout. Given that Season 4 will be the first nine-episode season since Season 2, it will be interesting to see how the story is told here. After all, Season 2 features perhaps the show’s most-derided episode, “The Lost Sister,” which was viewed as a potential backdoor pilot by some critics and audiences that doesn’t look to be further explored, at least for now.

Here is the synopsis for the third season of Stranger Things:

“It’s 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana, and summer’s heating up. School’s out, there’s a brand new mall in town, and the Hawkins crew are on the cusp of adulthood. Romance blossoms and complicates the group’s dynamic, and they’ll have to figure out how to grow up without growing apart. Meanwhile, danger looms. When the town’s threatened by enemies old and new, Eleven and her friends are reminded that evil never ends; it evolves. Now they’ll have to band together to survive, and remember that friendship is always stronger than fear.”

Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Dacre Montgomery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, and Cara Buono.
