The first Stranger Things season 4 teaser has confirmed that the hit Netflix series will debut in 2022.
One of Netflix’s most popular shows, the fourth season of Stranger Things is set to return to the streaming service later next year. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the fourth season of Stranger Things since the third season debuted in 2019. The third season saw the crew dealing with romance and the complicated plights of teenagehood, as well as a growing threat that had embedded itself into Hawkins’ local mall.
Though the teaser is brief and mostly features footage from the first three seasons, we do get a solid look at the colorful crew all grown up, as well as the nefarious forces that they’ll be battling against.The teaser is expected to air during the Olympics tonight, ensuring that the global phenomenon gets some more eyeballs later next year.
Here is the official synopsis for the third season of Stranger Things:
“It’s 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana, and summer’s heating up. School’s out, there’s a brand new mall in town, and the Hawkins crew are on the cusp of adulthood. Romance blossoms and complicates the group’s dynamic, and they’ll have to figure out how to grow up without growing apart. Meanwhile, danger looms. When the town’s threatened by enemies old and new, Eleven and her friends are reminded that evil never ends; it evolves. Now they’ll have to band together to survive, and remember that friendship is always stronger than fear.”
