A new behind-the-scenes photo from the David Ayer cut of Suicide Squad sees Harley Quinn in a wedding dress.

More and more continues to surface from David Ayer’s version of Suicide Squad that never made it to theaters. The latest from the Ayer Cut features a new look for Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn in the film.

The new image of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn in the David Ayer Cut of Suicide Squad comes from a recent Instagram shared by military costume supervisor Owen Thornton. Here’s what he wrote in the caption followed by the photo:

“Harlequin played by the one and only Margot Robbie. Harley wore her Wedding dress during the Los Angeles pick-up shots and it was fun to dust it in the traditional colors of red and blue. Of course Suicide Squad holds many secrets hidden inside the Ayer cut….. This being one of them.”

Here is the synopsis for the 2016 film:

It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

Written and directed by David Ayer, the 2016 film stars Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, and Scott Eastwood.

Both Suicide Squad films are available on BluRay, 4K, DVD, and Digital. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the future Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
