Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League Rocksteady

Fans of the DC Universe will have to wait a little longer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League as Rocksteady and Warner Bros. Games have announced that its release date has pushed back to February 2, 2024. This news comes after a report from Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, who hinted at the delay.

In a statement released on social media, Rocksteady explained the decision to delay Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League: “We have made the tough but necessary decision to take the time needed to work on getting the game to be the best quality experience for players.” The studio also thanked the video game community for their support and understanding.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League follows the story of DC’s infamous group of supervillains, including Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark, as they attempt to take down the Justice League, who have been turned evil by Brainiac. The game is set in a vast, open-world Metropolis, and players can switch between the four members of the Suicide Squad, each with their own unique abilities and playstyle.

Rocksteady’s commitment to quality

The new Suicide Squad game promises to be a thrilling action-adventure shooter with an emphasis on cooperative play. It is being developed by Rocksteady Studios, the team behind the critically-acclaimed Batman: Arkham series. Fans of the Batman series have been eagerly awaiting the release of the game since it was first announced during DC’s FanDome event.

The delay of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is not the first time the game has been postponed. In fact, delays have become common in the gaming industry as developers strive to create the best possible experience for players. The extra time will allow Rocksteady to fine-tune the game and ensure that it meets the high standards set by the Batman: Arkham series.

“The creators of the Batman: Arkham series are back with a brand new action-adventure shooter,” reads a synopsis for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. “The most dangerous villains in the DC Universe have been forced to team up and take on a new mission: Kill the Justice League. Create Chaos in Metropolis. You are the Suicide Squad.”
