Rocksteady just revealed a brand new Suicide Squad game, teasing that more will be announced at DC FanDome.

After months of speculation about the next big DC game from Rocksteady, the studio has revealed a mysterious first look at a Suicide Squad game which will seemingly feature Superman or even Bizarro. News of the Suicide Squad game circulated online back in June when a number of domains were registered, implying that the game is titled Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. A later piece from Eurogamer.net also suggested the title was a strong contender for the game. But Rocksteady Studios revealed it’ll beheading to DC FanDome with their latest offering, showing off a surprising new image.

The Suicide Squad game will seemingly pit players against the Justice League, as the first image puts the crosshairs over Superman, although many DC fans online are already speculating that this could actually be Bizarro because of the dull purple glow and a strange mark on the character’s face. Previous rumors suggested the title could feature multiplayer or online co-op modes. Luckily there isn’t long to wait, as the Suicide Squad game will be fully revealed at DC FanDome on August 22. Take a look at the mysterious poster below.

Here is the synopsis for Rocksteady’s last game, Batman: Arkham Knight:

In the explosive finale to the Arkham series, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever. Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady’s uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City.

Batman: Arkham Knight is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Stay turned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest video game news involving DC characters and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more video content in the future!
