‘Supergirl’: Chyler Leigh On Changes In Alex & Maggie’s Relationship

Supergirl

There are only five episodes left in Supergirl‘s sophomore season on The CW, but it seems as if that’s plenty of time for some big changes to occur in the lives of some of National City’s star residents.

TV Line is reporting that Chyler Leigh, who plays Kara’s adoptive sister Alex Danvers on the show, spoke briefly about what events might be happening in the season finale during a recent set visit. The actress couldn’t say much, but she did tease a potentially major development that could affect the lives of Agent Danvers and her girlfriend, Detective Maggie Sawyer (Floriana Lima).

Here is what Leigh had to say:

“I don’t know a lot. But I know one thing that could be happening that might be kiiiind of a big deal for Maggie and Alex. It’s kind of, maybe, sort of a big deal.”

The outlet noted that last part was added with a smile, so one would assume that the event she was referring to is not the couple breaking up. Might we be seeing a Sanvers engagement in the season finale?

“Ace Reporter” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

“IZOMBIE’S” RAHUL KOHLI GUEST STARS – Lena’s (guest star Katie McGarth) ex-boyfriend, Jack Spheer (guest star Rahul Kohli), comes to National City to unveil his big breakthrough in nano-technology, which has the potential to eradicate all diseases. Lena asks Kara to attend Jack’s conference with her for support. When Kara sees Snapper (guest Star Ian Gomez) in attendance she’s inspired to tap back into her reporter skills and questions Jack on his discovery, which ultimately leads to a bigger investigation that puts everyone in danger. Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode written by Paula Yoo & Caitlin Parrish (#218). Original airdate 4/24/2017.
