According to a report by Forbes, Warner Bros. and DC Films’ Supergirl movie is rumored to begin production in early 2020.

Earlier this year, it was reported Warner Bros. and DC films were shelving Superman projects in favor of focusing on introducing Supergirl to the DC Extended Universe. However, until now there had been little to no updates on a Supergirl film since the initial reports.

Now, Forbes writes that a Supergirl film is tentatively expecting to begin production in the first quarter of 2020, right around the same time Matt Reeves’ The Batman is said to commence filming. The outlet also speculates that we could hear casting information for the Supergirl film in a few months.
