‘Supergirl’ & ‘Gotham’ Ratings Hold Steady With Series Lows

'Supergirl' ratings tied with the previous week's new series low on The CW; 'Gotham' also tied with the show's series low number on FOX.

Last week Supergirl and Gotham returned from extended hiatuses with both superhero shows delivering less than stellar ratings. While both shows managed to avoid significant viewers losses this week, the ratings for the latest episodes of Supergirl and Gotham could only hold steady with their respective series lows.

Supergirl earned 1.73 million viewers, down from the previous episode’s 1.80 million total, and 0.5 demo rating. Gotham scored a 1.0 demo rating and also dipped in audience numbers with 2.92 million viewers.

Supergirl continues next week with the episode titled “City of Lost Children”.

“THIS IS US” LONNIE CHAVIS GUEST STARS – When an alien attacks National City, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and the DEO learn the alien is a Phorian, an otherwise peaceful race with telekinetic powers. Guardian (Mehcad Brooks) gets a lead on the Phorian’s address but instead of finding the culprit, he finds a very scared boy named Marcus (guest star Lonnie Chavis). Marcus will only trust James so it is up to Guardian to stop the attacks on the city. Rhea’s (Teri Hatcher) plan escalates. Ben Bray directed the episode with story by Robert Rovner and teleplay by Gabriel Llanas & Anna Musky-Goldwyn (#220). Original airdate 5/8/2017.”

Gotham continues next week with the episode titled “The Primal Riddle”.


Mr. Freeze (Guest Star Nathan Darrow) and Firefly (Guest Star Camila Perez) Return

Some of Gotham’s most unhinged villains band together, while The Riddler continues his conquest of the city. Gordon is on a search for answers and all roads keep leading him back to the Court of Owls. Meanwhile, as Alfred begins to notice a change in Bruce, Bruce 2 confides in Selina (Camren Bicondova) in the all-new “Heroes Rise: The Primal Riddle” episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, May 8 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
