‘Supergirl’ Star David Harewood Debuts The Martian Chronicles Poster

David Harewood has teased that Martian Manhunter is prepped for the spotlight in Supergirl with a new poster.

The poster has been released in light of Harewood’s J’onn J’onzz (aka Martian Manhunter) being slightly brushed off to the sides for last week’s midseason return. It seems Harewood wants to reassure fans that bigger things are coming for the last martian, as he teases with the caption:

“The Marian Chronicles. Coming soon.”

The Martian Chronicles Harewood refers to is the title of the February 6th episode of Supergirl, indicating that J’onn should be seeing a more prominent story arc in the coming weeks. The episode will see him team up with Kara to battle against a White Martian who has arrived in National City.

Before that, though, we have episode 2.10 which will be airing this coming Monday. View the synopsis for that below:

“We Can Be Heroes” – (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)

“LIVEWIRE IS SET LOOSE UPON NATIONAL CITY – After Livewire (guest star Brit Morgan) seemingly breaks out of prison, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) is intent on recapturing her. After training Mon-El (Chris Wood), Supergirl takes him with her when she sees Livewire attack the NCPD but things go awry when Mon-El puts Supergirl before the citizens of National City. Meanwhile, James (Mehcad Brooks) decides to come clean with Kara and M’Gann (guest star Sharon Leal), has a psychic attack and collapses into a coma. Rebecca Johnson directed the episode written by Caitlin Parrish & Katie Rose Rogers (#210). Original airdate 1/30/2017.”

Supergirl airs on Monday nights at 8/7c on The CW, and be sure to check Heroic Hollywood after every single episode of Season 2 for a weekly review.
