‘Supergirl’: Melissa Benoist Teases New Alliances In Upcoming Episodes

This season of Supergirl has thrown a lot at Kara Danvers, including multiple adversaries in the form of Cadmus leader Lillian Luthor and Mon-El’s mother Rhea. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, series lead Melissa Benoist discussed how Kara will balance her many struggles and hinted at potential alliances in the season’s final episodes.

Benoist teases that Kara may have to form some alliances in order to thwart her many foes.

“She’s going to have to figure out how to balance it all. There might be people she has to ally with and people who will be her clear enemies, so it’s a lot of juggling.”

Considering Cadmus has an intense disdain for intergalactic travelers, perhaps Kara and Lillian Luthor will have mutual enemy in Rhea, who has her sights set on Earth.

Supergirl returns on April 24 with the episode titled “Ace Reporter”.
