Supergirl star Melissa Benoist is apparently getting a new costume for the Supergirl/The Flash crossover.
Yesterday, new set photos showed a bunch of 1920s/1940s style cars lined up on the street. There were also gangsters, guns, and a car chase involved.
According to ET’s Leanne Aguilera on Twitter, during a set visit, she witnessed Benoist dressed in a new costume specifically made for the crossover. No pictures were taken or released, but perhaps it’s also based on the style of a different era?
Fact: @MelissaBenoist looks absolutely STUNNING in her musical crossover costume! No pics for now, but just WOW! #Supergirl

Supergirl’s next episode will bring the focus back to Lena Luthor and her mother.
