Superman and Lois will continue exploring Tyler Hoechlin’s Clark Kent and Elizabeth Tulloch’s Lois Lane from the Arrowverse. Ahead of its debut, Entertainment Weekly released the first clip from the series which flashes back to the iconic DC couple’s first meeting, which you can check out here. Pilot director Lee Toland Krieger also shared with the publication that this scene is part of the show’s opening montage that will explore the the Superman origin story we know and love:

“I feel pretty proud of that opening montage where we get to kind of go through Superman’s mythology, from baby Kal-El arriving in the pod to young Clark with Martha and Jonathan, and through him meeting Lois. All of that stuff felt good. It felt like it was fitting. It felt like we [got to] have our fun with that mythology and then get into the show.”
