Netflix’s The Witcher will follow the monster slayer for hire named Geralt of Rivia. Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich will also serve as an executive producer on the series while Alik Sakharov, Alex Garcia Lopez and Charlotte Brändström are on board as directors for the eight-episode first season.

The Netflix series will also star Freya Allan as Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, Jodhi May as Queen Calanthe, Bjorn Hlynur Haraldsson as Eist, Adam Levy as Mousesack, MyAnna Buring as Aretuza, and Millie Brady as Princess Renfri, with Mimi Ndiweni and Therica Wilson-Read as novice sorcerers. Keep an eye on Heroic Hollywood as more details on this project come out.

  • Peter James

Ironically, this is one role in which he could really really use a beard or some major stubble growth and 5 O’Clock shadow

  • Darthmanwe

AHAHAHAHAHAH The sexy potion downing…… Oh my god, I love the tongue in cheek references.

Also I’d like to remind everyone, this is the book Geralt, some 20-30 years younger, not to mention hates beards of all kinds since it makes him look older. And he gets some of those iconic scars DURING the book series, so look forward to his eye getting slashed by a vampire.
