‘Swamp Thing’ Image Reveals New Look At Crystal Reed As Abby Arcane

A behind-the-scenes image from Swamp Thing gives us a brand new look at Crystal Reed as Abby Arcane.

Director Len Wiseman uploaded an official behind-the-scenes image from Swamp Thing and it has the cast and producer in what appears to be a morgue. In the image Len Weisman, Crystal Reed as Abby Arcane and Andy Bean as Alec Holland, all hover over what looks like a bloody corpse with a disgusted look on their faces. When CDC researcher Abby Arcane returns to her childhood home of Houma, Louisiana, in order to investigate a deadly swamp-borne virus, she develops a surprising bond with scientist Alec Holland — only to have him tragically taken from her. But as powerful forces descend on Houma, intent on exploiting the swamp’s mysterious properties for their own purposes, Abby will discover that the swamp holds mystical secrets, both horrifying and wondrous — and the potential love of her life may not be dead after all.

Swamp Thing stars Crystal Reed as Abby Arcane, Maria Sten as Liz, Henderson Wade as Matt Cable, Jeryl Prescott as Madame Xanadu, Virginia Madsen as Maria Sunderland, Will Patton as Avery Sunderland, Jennifer Beals as an original character created for the series, Andy Bean as Alec Holland, Kevin Durand as Jason Woodrue, and Derek Mears as the titular creature.

Aquaman director James Wan will serve as an executive producer on the series alongside Mark Verheiden, Gary Dauberman, Michael Clear, and Len Wiseman. The first episode will be written by Verheiden and Dauberman while Wiseman will direct.

Swamp Thing will be available exclusively on DC Universe in 2019.

‘Titans’ Season 1 Episode 7 ‘The Asylum’ Synopsis, Promo & Images Released

The promo and official synopsis for the upcoming seventh episode of the DC Universe series Titans has been released along with a new batch of official stills.

The new series follows a grown-up Dick Grayson working as a Detective in Detroit, having left his nights with the Caped Crusader long in the past due to having fundamental differences with Batman’s methods and approach to crimefighting before forming the superhero team known as the Titans. When The Messenger (recurring guest star REED BIRNEY) reveals that Rachel’s birth mother is alive and being held captive by The Organization in a mysterious psychiatric facility, Rachel is determined to rescue her. But once inside, the Titans are faced with their deepest vulnerabilities and fears.

Before Dick can reunite with The Titans, he reluctantly teams with Jason Todd (recurring guest star CURRAN WALTERS), the new Robin, to catch a serial killer targeting performers from Dick’s surrogate circus family from when he was a member of the Flying Graysons. But Jason’s perspective on Bruce Wayne forces Dick to reexamine the truth behind their falling out.

The series stars Brenton Thwaites as Richard “Dick” Grayson / Robin, Anna Diop as Koriand’r / Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth / Raven, and Ryan Potter as Garfield “Gar” Logan / Beast Boy.

Titans is now available exclusively on DC Universe.
