‘Suicide Squad’: David Ayer Movie Gets An Official Synopsis

The first official synopsis for David Ayer's upcoming supervillain team-up movie Suicide Squad is here, teasing its plot.

One of the big DC Comics films that will be coming out next year is David Ayer’s Suicide Squad and despite having the released the trailer back from San Diego Comic-Con, the launch of the film’s social media pages and all of that, we have yet to have an official synopsis for the film.

But now we finally have one as DC Comics attached one in their post about DC Collectibles for Suicide Squad for July 2016. You can catch the synopsis below along with the trailer from this past summer. Here’s the official synopsis for the Suicide Squad movie.

“It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?”

Suicide Squad is slated to come out in theaters on August 5, 2016.
