Temuera Morrison is officially returning to the Star Wars universe, but as Boba Fett this time around for season 2 of The Mandalorian.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Temuera Morrison is set to return to the Star Wars universe for The Mandalorian season 2. Morrison previously played Boba Fett’s father Jango Fett in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, so he’s the perfect choice to play the character. Boba Fett was previously voiced by Jeremy Bulloch and made his final appearance in Return of the Jedi.
The Mandalorian season 2 is shaping up to be a Star Wars fan’s dream with the addition of Morrison as Boba Fett and Rosario Dawson as Ashoka Tano. Boba Fett was previously teased in the first season of The Mandalorian, so this shouldn’t be that shocking. But, the trade notes that the fan favorite bounty hunter will only have a small role in the second season.
