Teyonah Parris is rumored to return as Monica Rambeau in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness after her appearance in WandaVision.
WandaVision reintroduced audiences to a grown-up Monica Rambeau after her first appearance in Captain Marvel, with Teyonah Parris taking on the adult role. The Disney Plus series also gave us an origin story to the character who got her powers from the Hex. We know Parris will show up in The Marvels next, but there might be another project we see her in before she reunites with Carol Danvers.
According to Daniel Richtman, before Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau shows up in The Marvels, she will allegedly first turn up in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. If this is true, she will join Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch in the sequel as well. Filming on Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is already finished, with the film dated for release in March 2022.

You can read the official synopsis for WandaVision below.
Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
Matt Shakman directed the series with Jac Schaeffer as the lead scribe; WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Evan Peters as Ralph Bohner, and Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness.
