The first clip from The Book of Boba Fett has been released ahead of the Star Wars show’s premiere next week.
The Book of Boba Fett is the next Star Wars series up for Disney Plus. With only a week to go, Lucasfilm is keeping a tight lid on the show’s details with the marketing campaign only showing footage from the first half of the premiere. Like The Mandalorian, we can expect there to be a lot of surprises in store.
However, People has released the first clip from the series that is most likely very early on in the premiere. In the clip, we see Boba Fett and Fennec Shand walking and talking about their plans for taking over Jabba the Hutt’s crime syndicate. It appears the two are also on Tattooine, which is the only planet we’ve seen in the footage so far. Much of the lines we have heard in the trailer are now given to us in context with this clip, which you can watch here.
Here is the synopsis for the upcoming Star Wars series:
The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the Galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.
Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, and Kathleen Kennedy are all executive producers on The Mandalorian spin-off with episodes directed by Rodriguez, Favreau, Filoni, and Bryce Dallas Howard. The series stars Temuera Morrison, Ming-Na Wen, and Jennifer Beals.
The series will arrive on December 29 on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the Star Wars franchise and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
