The Flash is just a few days away from returning with a brand new season as Barry Allen deals with a new version of his universe when the show adapts the Flashpoint storyline. The CW released today the official description for the third episode of the new season, titled “Magenta”. The name refers to the DC character Magenta who will be played by Joey King as she brings the Rogue to life.

In addition, Earth-2 Harrison and Jesse Quick are also returning and if you are hoping to see Jesse maybe get a bit faster this season: you might be in luck. Check it out below, but be aware of potential spoilers.

“THE FLASH

“Magenta”— (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)

EARTH-2 WELLS AND JESSE RETURN TO CENTRAL CITY — Barry (Grant Gustin) and Team Flash are thrilled to reunite with Earth-2 Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and Jesse (guest star Violett Beane). Wells confides to Barry and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) that Jesse has all the powers of a speedster and has been saving people on his Earth. He is concerned about her safety and wants them to talk her out of using her powers. Meanwhile, Magenta, (guest star Joey King) a new meta who can control metal, terrorizes the city. Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode written by Judalina Neira & David Kob (#303). Original airdate 10/18/2016.”

The Flash Season 3 starts on Tuesday, October 4 at 8/7c on The CW.

“Meanwhile, Magenta, (guest star Joey King) a new meta who can control metal, terrorizes the city.”

Or, to put it another way:

“Meanwhile, Flash Villain #3338-Z, (guest star a good looking non-threatening CW-ish young woman), a throwaway character that Barry could defeat in an instant if he would only stop forgetting how damned fast he is, serves as the B or perhaps C plot of this episode.”

Do you also complain about every single Flash comic?

    • SAMURAI36

      Read comics much?

Also, I hope you moan about every single Marvel movie and TV show, that does the exact same thing.

And last I checked, Flash was not able to defeat Zoom or Reverse Flash so easily. But don’t let those facts stop you from complaining.

I kind of agree with you, but you’re being a bit harsh.
