New photos from The Flash set in the United Kingdom show the Wayne Manor from 1989’s Batman surrounded by smoke.
Director Andy Muschietti recently confirmed that filming had begun on The Flash by revealing the logo for the Scarlet Speedster’s solo adventure, and now more set photos from the UK set of the Ezra Miller film seem to show something happening at Wayne Manor. Burghley House was used to double as Wayne Manor in 1989’s Batman starring Michael Keaton, and the star is set to return to the role for the 2022 movie.
The photos which surfaced on Twitter show smoke machines being used on the grounds of Burghley House, although as ‘Rutland & Stamford Sound’ pointed out there’s tight security around the Wayne Manor set meaning the stars of The Flash can’t be seen there. And unfortunately the figure in a long black cape noted in the tweet looks to be a crew member in a long leather jacket rather than Michael Keaton’s Batman. Take a look at the set photos from The Flash below.
Hollywood is in #Stamford at the moment! It's thought it's the new #Batman film #TheFlash being shot @burghleyhouse
Have you any photos to share? Tight security means no showbiz interviews with the stars, however a figure in a long black cape has been spotted (not by us yet!) pic.twitter.com/0PjrWECjNH

What do you make of the Wayne Manor set photos? Are you excited to see The Flash movie? How do you think Michael Keaton’s Batman will come into the story? Sound-off in the comments below!
Plot details for The Flash are currently unknown. Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck will return as their respective Batmen and guide Barry on this journey inspired by Geoff John’s Flashpoint. Kiersey Clemons will reprise her role as Iris West in the film, Maribel Verdú is set to play Nora Allen, and Sasha Calle will play Supergirl.
Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson, The Flash will be inspired by the Flashpoint comic storyline, which followed The Flash as he navigated an altered DC Universe. Written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kuber, Flashpoint radically altered the status of the DC Comics universe and led to the launch of the New 52 titles. It is currently unknown how much inspiration the upcoming Ezra Miller film will take from the comic.
The Flash is set to hit theaters on June 3, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news regarding The Flash and the future of the DC Extended Universe and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more exclusive video content!
