‘The Flash’: New Episode Features An Insane Dialogue Blunder In International Dub

Ay caramba.

An international dub of one of the newest The Flash episodes features a quick shocking dialogue mistake.

The Flash last aired on December 14, wrapping up its ambitious Armageddon crossover, which saw the Arrowverse coming to the rescue. The five-part crossover kicked off the eighth season of the show and was mostly praised by both fans and critics. It may not all be peachy though, as criticism for the show’s dialogue has become quite common, especially in its latest season.

While fans are looking forward to seeing what’s next for Barry Allen and co, a Brazillian dub seems to have them looking into the show’s many criticisms. A clip from the Brazillian dub of the season’s first episode features a quite jarring dialogue mistake that puts a mirror to the show’s dialogue. In the scene, The Flash can be seen facing off Despero. During that interaction, a person can be heard saying, “Ohla, que diálogo merda.” This can be heard at 0:05 mark. The dialogue (via ComicBookMovie) roughly translates t”Look, what a shit dialogue.”

A Twitter user from the region has since said that the blunder was faked in a bid to go viral. Then again, stranger things have happened. One of the show’s biggest criticisms in its eighth season has been the dialogue, so it’s not out of the question to imagine someone, especially a voice actor, to comment on the mediocre nature of it.

The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow / Killer Frost, Jesse L. Martin as Joe West, and Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton.

The Flash airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Grant Gustin as Barry Allen and the future of the Arrowverse, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
