The Incredibles 2 is coming out in about three months the the press tour has already begun. We got a chance to visit Pixar and saw all the secrets behind the making of the upcoming animated sequel. We even got to see about 30 minutes of footage.
While at Pixar, I got the chance to see about 25 minutes of the film and a few clips. The first 25 minutes of the movie were nothing short of incredible. The sequel picks up right where The Incredibles left off all those years ago. The Parr family were are up against the Underminer and from the looks of it they probably bit off more than they could chew. The battle with the Underminer was messy and created a lot of mayhem and destruction. This does not bode well for The Incredibles as the the government gets even more angry with Supers because of it. Now, the Parrs have to go into hiding yet again until Frozone comes to them with a lucrative offer. There’s a company that wants to bring Supers back into the world and they want Elastigirl to do it. This causes Mr. Incredible to become a stay at home dad.
The first clip takes place after Elastigirl takes the job. The job comes with its perks and the Parr family get a brand new house. Dash is in love with the perks, testing everything out until he ends up drowning the sofas.
The next clip was about Elastigirl’s first night back out as a Super. She has a cool new motorcycle that adapts to her powers. This comes in handy when the new hover train goes haywire and she has to catch it. This bike is an updated version of her old bike that she had before she met Mr. Incredible. Elastigirl chases the train and uses her wits to get it to stop and finds out that the train was ultimately sabotaged by a mysterious new villain.
The final clip twas updated version of Jack-Jack versus a raccoon that was shown at Disney’s D23 Expo. While I can’t say much about it, it’s just as awesome and as super as you’d want it to be.
Full details on the plot for The Incredibles 2 are being kept under wraps. The upcoming film is said to center on Elastigirl’s own adventure while Bob stays at home to watch over Jack-Jack, picking up immediately after the first film as the Parr family faces off against a supervillain known as The Underminer.
The Incredibles 2 is set for a June 15, 2018 release date. The film’s official synopsis is as follows:
“In The Incredibles 2, Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose superpowers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.”

Characters Who Should Appear In The ‘Nightwing’ Movie
So Michael Cera’s appearance as Dick Grayson in The LEGO Batman Movie wasn’t enough for all you Nightwing fans, huh? Well, Warner Bros. is listening and has decided to give Heroic Hollywood’s number one sidekick his own movie. The LEGO Batman Movie helmer Chris McKay has been named the director of a Nightwing movie no one saw coming. Nightwing’s place in the DC Extended Universe is up in the air. How long ago did he quit being Robin? Are he and Batman speaking right now? Why wasn’t he mentioned in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice?
While the movie will likely answer all those questions, I expect it will also serve as an introduction to a different corner of the Batman universe, similar to the upcoming Gotham City Sirens. Batman might be in it for a scene or two, but the movie will need a full supporting cast to help Nightwing appear as the kickass, sociable character he is. Bruce Wayne has got the brooding down, but former circus performer Dick Grayson knows how to have fun in a way his mentor doesn’t.
