A recent Xbox update sparked speculation that a new Star Wars video game based on The Mandalorian is in the works at Microsoft.

Several brand-new Star Wars video games appear to be on the way after the announcement of Lucasfilm Games, which allows developers outside of EA to work on games based on Lucasfilm’s IP. What we know so far is that an Indiana Jones game is in development at Bethesda, an open-world Star Wars game from Ubisoft is coming, while Aspyr is strongly rumored to be working on a remake of Knights of the Old Republic.

A Star Wars video game based on The Mandalorian is now being heavily speculated online after some evidence surfaced and was later highlighted in a recent Reddit post from u/CornDogMan2020. The speculation started when fans noticed a Mandalorian Funko Pop! behind Phil Spencer during a recent Xbox update. This is relevant because Spencer is known to hint at future projects in these videos. As it turns out, the Funko Pop! in the video wasn’t from The Mandalorian, but XboxEra co-founder Nick Baker let it slip on Twitter that a game is still in the works:
