The Suicide Squad star Idris Elba took to Twitter to provide a positive update after being diagnosed with the coronavirus.
After Idris Elba confirmed that he’d tested positive for the coronavirus he and his wife Sabrina have been self-isolating to help reduce the spread of the virus. But in a video posted to Twitter The Suicide Squad star told fans that although he and his wife are out of the quarantine period, they can’t get a flight back home. Idris Elba went on to say that he’s doing well and feeling okay following the diagnosis, although jokingly pointed out that they struggle to sit still.
The star took the time to thank medical staff that are helping those suffering the most with the coronavirus before telling fans to try and stay positive throughout the pandemic. Elba noted that times are going to be difficult for people across the world, especially financially, but to “keep your head up”. Watch the positive update from Idris Elba below.
