The official running time of The Super Mario Bros. Movie has been revealed.

The long-awaited Super Mario Bros. movie is almost here and fans of the video game series couldn’t be more excited. The movie, which stars Chris Pratt and Charlie Day. has a running time of 92 minutes and 17 seconds, as reported by the Irish Film Classification Office.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie follows the adventures of Mario (Chris Pratt) and Luigi (Charlie Day) as they attempt to save the Mushroom Kingdom from the evil Bowser (Jack Black) and his minions. Along the way, they meet a number of other beloved characters from the Super Mario Bros. universe, including Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Toad (Keegan-Michael Key).

The Super Mario Bros. movie has been in development for several years, with many false starts and setbacks along the way. However, the project gained momentum when it was announced that Illumination Entertainment, the studio behind the successful Despicable Me franchise, would be producing the film in collaboration with Nintendo.

Nintendo and Universal are co-financing The Super Mario Bros. Movie, with the latter handling the distribution. Illumination, which is co-owned by Universal, has previously worked on Despicable MeMinionsThe Secret Life of Pets, and Sing.
