The Witcher star Henry Cavill may have revealed Geralt of Rivia’s horse Roach on his official Instagram account.
The first season of Netflix’s The Witcher recently wrapped production and Henry Cavill marked his final days in Hungary by spending time with a horse named Hector. Because Henry Cavill is in Hungary, where production on The Witcher took place, fans believe the series star may have offered fans their best look at Roach, the trusty steed of Geralt of Rivia.

In the video games, Roach is the name Geralt of Rivia gives to all of his horses, though he usually has a preference for mares.

The Witcher stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Freya Allan as Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, Jodhi May as Queen Calanthe, Bjorn Hlynur Haraldsson as Eist, Adam Levy as Mousesack, MyAnna Buring as Aretuza, and Millie Brady as Princess Renfri, with Mimi Ndiweni and Therica Wilson-Read as novice sorcerers. Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich will also serve as an executive producer on the series while Alik Sakharov, Alex Garcia Lopez, and Charlotte Brändström are on board as directors for the eight-episode first season.
The Witcher will be available on Netflix in late 2019.
