Fan Theory Links ‘Avengers: Endgame’ To Captain Marvel Post Credits Scene

A new fan theory suggests that a post credits scene after the upcoming film Captain Marvel will link to the events in Avengers: Endgame.

Marvel fans are getting restless as they haven’t had an MCU film since Ant-Man and the Wasp. And the fact that not one, but two epic trailers have dropped for Avengers: Endgame and Captain Marvel. These next level previews have sparked much discussion over what could go down and that means one thing. Brace yourself. The Theories are coming. And one suggests what might happen in one of Captain Marvel’s post credits scenes.

You can check out the post below:

Credits Scene Theory for Captain Marvel: Captain Marvel receives the signal from Nick Fury (IW post-credits), and begins her journey towards Earth. On her way, she gets a distress signal and finds the Benatar spaceship we saw in the trailer for Endgame. In it—as we know— is Tony Stark and Nubula!!! from marvelstudios

There’s a lot going on to support this theory. We know Tony can’t just die in space because there has to be a reason Doctor Strange saved him on Titan. And we know that Captain Marvel is off somewhere in the Universe. So it is’t crazy to think she could get the signal. I mean she receives a signal from a modified 90’s pager from Nick Fury in Infinity War. So she definitely checks her messages and could easily pick up Stark’s signal. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled when the credits roll on Captain Marvel next year.

Do you think Captain Marvel will hear Tony’s distress signal and save Tony Stark? What do you think the post credits scene will be in Captain Marvel? Who do you think this Nubula character is? Please share your thoughts in the comments below.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck with a script from them as well as Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Jac Schaeffer, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Annette Bening, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

Captain Marvel will be released in theatres on March 8, 2019.
