According to a new Fandango survey, Thor: Ragnarok and Justice League are the two most anticipated Fall 2017 movies and this news will certainly fan the flames of the Marvel v DC debate among fans. The two superhero flicks from Marvel Studios and Warners Bros respectively, which are both scheduled to arrive in November and took the number one and two spots.
Fandango ranked their users’ most anticipated fall 2017 films in terms of both genre and overall. After the two superhero films, Blade Runner 2049 (starring Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling) came in third place (not bad for a 30-year-old sequel). Fourth and fifth places, meanwhile, went to this month’s spy thriller sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle and this week’s much buzzed-about Stephen King adaptation, IT, respectively.
With the huge success of Wonder Woman and Warner Brothers reportedly doubling down on Princess Diana’s popularity with reshoots for Justice League, it’s no surprise that the film is highly anticipated. Not to mention, the film will bring together some of DC’s biggest heroes for the first time – Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and hopefully the resurrection of a Superman (Henry Cavill) who will not be divisive among fans.
Thor: Ragnarok is the third solo film to feature the God of Thunder (played by Chris Hemsworth). Among the movie’s drawing points are Cate Blanchett as the villain Hela, as well as Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) making his first trip into the cosmic realm of the MCU.
Ragnarok and Justice League also lead in terms of individual accolades – as Fandango’s most anticipated fall 2017 movie actor award went to Hemsworth, while the most anticipated actress prize went to Gadot.

10 Reasons Jared Leto Is The Worst Joker
The Joker is one of the most iconic characters in fiction. His bombastic schemes, twisted behavior and eerie laugh are the things nightmares are made from. Amazing actors like Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger have brought the Joker to life over the years, and he will continue to grace the big and small screen for years to come.
Jared Leto is another amazing actor who’s been lucky enough to play the Joker. The actor, who’s set to star in the upcoming Blade Runner 2049, was dealt a poor script in Suicide Squad and wasn’t given a chance to properly shine. Certain aspects of his character were enjoyable, and hopefully he will be better in future renditions, but for now, Leto is considered a disappointment. No matter how far the actor pushed himself to get into character, things just didn’t click for him this time around.
