Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War will unite several of the Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes in the fight to defeat the sinister Thanos. Behind-the-scenes, the directors of Marvel’s upcoming releases will have some involvement in the third Avengers film in order to ensure any creative decisions do not have repercussions for their respective projects. Now, Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi has shared some images from his visit to the Avengers: Infinity War set with the Russo Brothers.
Posted on Waititi’s official Twitter account, the photos feature the Thor: Ragnarok director alongside Joe and Anthony Russo. The captions also spotlight Waititi’s brand of humor as he misspells both the Russo name and the title of Avengers: Infinity War.

Avengers: Infinity War won’t be released in theaters until next summer, but fans will be able to see Waititi’s entry in the MCU later this year.
In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok“, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladictorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk!
Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins.
Thor: Ragnarok will be released in theaters on November 3, 2017.
