Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn was recently asked on Twitter if he had seen the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok trailer. His response? “Yes. It might be the best” Marvel trailer in the history of Marvel trailers. You can read Gunn’s full tweet below.

Thor: Ragnarok will be the third installment in the films about the Asgardian god. Interestingly enough, the film will be hitting theaters only a couple of weeks before Justice League, so it’s sure to set up the competition with box office numbers. Obviously, opinions on what constitutes a great trailer is subjective, but Gunn gets pretty enthusiastic about these things, so the trailer for Ragnarok is surely to impress. However, there’s no word yet on when we might see it, but it should be out fairly soon.
In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk!
Directed by Taika Waititi, the film stars Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Cate Blanchett, Tom Hiddleston, Tessa Thompson, Idris Elba, Karl Urban, Anthony Hopkins, and Jeff Goldblum.
Thor: Ragnarok will hit theaters on November 3, 2017.
