Marvel fans that will be near the Disneyland Resort will have an exciting limited-time opportunity starting this October. A special sneak peek of the upcoming new film Thor: Ragnarok will be screening at the Disney California Adventure theme park in Anaheim, CA.
The sneak peek will be shown in the Sunset Showcase Theater in the Hollywood Land area of the park – the same area where the first Marvel-themed Disney attraction Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! is located.
Tourists who have the opportunity to check out this exclusive sneak peek of Thor: Ragnarok will be seeing it projected in 3D with special in-theater effects. Props and costumes from the upcoming film will also be displayed at the theater.
This isn’t the first time Disney California Adventure has used the Sunset Showcase Theater to screen a special sneak peek for a Marvel film. Last year, footage from Doctor Strange was screened at the theater utilizing the special in-theater effects. Also, footage for Ant-Man was also screened at Disney California Adventure in the theater where the attraction, It’s Tough to Be a Bug is located.
The exclusive Thor: Ragnarok sneak peek will begin screening at the park on October 6, 2017.
Directed by Taika Waititi, Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins. Here’s the official synopsis:
In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk!
