As production is happening, directors have become more and more involved in teasing things from set.

Recently, Thor: Ragnarok director, Taika Waititi, posted a picture to his Instagram teasing the possible appearance of Korg, an alien character largely associated with the “Planet Hulk” comics story line.

Part of the Kronan race, Korg had traveled to Earth and fought alongside The Hulk. The two are incredibly close and since Hulk will be appearing in Ragnarok, it’s possible that Korg will be making more than just a small appearance.

For a while now, there have been rumors that Ragnarok will be including story arcs from “Planet Hulk”.  How much of the story line from the comics will be involved isn’t yet known. But what we do know is that Thor fought Korg, or some other member of the Kronan race at the beginning of Thor: A Dark World.

It’s a bit odd and unfair that, although Korg will appear in Ragnarok, fans will be robbed from seeing him in a standalone Hulk movie, since there will be no solo film for the big angry guy at any point in the near future.

What do you guys think? Excited for Korg’s appearance in Ragnarok? Do you think his appearance will be significant?

Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Mark Ruffalo, Idris Elba, Karl Urban, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Anthony Hopkins.

Plot details are forthcoming. The film will hit theaters November 3, 2017.
