Fans of Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok have been sharing fond memories of one of the film’s funniest moments.
It all started when Thor: Ragnarok fan and Reddit user AdrammelechAeshma posted a gif into a Reddit thread created to discuss Marvel films of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor jabbing Doctor Strange’s card on the city street with Mjolnir designed as an umbrella. Along with the gif, AdrammelechAeshma commented:
“I love that for a second when Loki vanished and Strange left the card that Thor genuinely for a moment seriously took the possibility that Loki turned himself into a piece of paper.”

Of course, at this point in Thor: Ragnarok, you cannot blame Thor for his reaction, taking precautionary measures as he curiously pokes at the card. His brother has shapeshifted into far stranger things for the sake of a joke or truly heinous plans. Still, it is still one of the film’s funniest moments simply because of the absurdity.
This started a fun conversation between a bunch of Thor: Ragnarok fans who joined in the conversation about the scene. Reddit User LostWoodsInTheField also observed:
“This is one of those moments where you go “is Thor stupid?” and then you remember that him and Loki have probably spent a good 1300+ years knowing each other and that Loki has probably done some really crazy shit to the point that this wasn’t even odd for Thor. Why would you think he was a piece of paper? “not even the strangest thing he has turned himself into…”
