‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Has Wrapped Production After Reshoots

Thor Ragnarok Marvel Studios

Thor: Ragnarok has wrapped production after three weeks of planned reshoots. This news comes hours before Marvel Studio’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

Filming for Thor’s third solo outing finished back in October 2016 but it was announced earlier this month that the film would be undergoing reshoots in Atlanta.

This news comes courtesy of Chris Hemsworth’s body double Bobby Holland Hanton, who shared an image of himself and Hemsworth eating, signaling their celebration of the film’s end. The caption reads that it was an “epic little 3 week reshoot.”

Director Taika Waititi shared his sentiments on Instagram as well by screen capping the original post and adding the caption “losers.”

With the film’s production wrapped, it’s safe to say that the film is heavily invested into post-production at the moment. In addition, we can expect the cast and crew of the film to be present at tonight’s Marvel panel at Comic-Con, and if we’re lucky, fans will get a brand new look at the film.

Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Cate Blanchett, Tom Hiddleston, Tessa Thompson, Idris Elba, Karl Urban, Anthony Hopkins, and Jeff Goldblum.

Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor’s quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela (Cate Blanchett) from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.

Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters November 3, 2017.
