We may not know a lot about Mackenzie Davis’ character in Terminator: Dark Fate but director Tim Miller has compared her to iconic X-Men member Wolverine.
While speaking to Comicbook.com, director Tim Miller talked about Mackenzie Davis’ character in Terminator: Dark Fate. He didn’t give a lot away but called her an augmented human who is strong, durable, fast and a lot like Wolverine:
“Then you bring Mackenzie’s character into it, who is an augmented human who’s strong — she’s like Wolverine. She’s very durable, very strong, very fast, and it’s all about speed with her.”
The Wolverine comparison here is rather apt. Since the character first appeared, Wolverine has been known for his adamantine claws, metal skeleton and his ability to heal from just about everything. In both of the trailers, we have seen Mackenzie Davis’ character heal from grizzly looking wounds, take a pounding from enemies and give them back in return. So perhaps you could say that Mackenzie Davis’ character is the Wolverine of the Terminator franchise.
What do you all think of Tim Miller’s comments? Based on what you’ve seen in the trailers, is the Wolverine comparison accurate? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
