‘Titans’ Iain Glen’s Bruce Wayne Is Away With SPOILER During Premiere

Titans Season 2 Iain Glen Batman Bruce Wayne Justice League

SPOILER WARNING: The second season premiere of Titans reveals Iain Glen’s Bruce Wayne is away with the Justice League during the episode.

Titans Season 2 will introduce Bruce Wayne to the series with Game of Thrones alum Ian Glen portraying the billionaire. Unfortunately for fans hoping to meet Iain Glen’s Bruce Wayne right away, it appears the DC hero was away with the Justice League during most of the premiere.

After receiving a plea for help through a vision from Raven, Hawk and Dove arrive at Wayne Manor in hopes of getting help tracking down Dick Grayson. Unfortunately, Iain Glen’s Bruce Wayne is absent when they arrive and Jason Todd informs that duo that he’s out of the country with the Justice League under unspecified circumstances:

“Bruce is halfway across the world with the rest of the Justice League. Alfred too. I got this place all to myself.”

However, Iain Glen’s Bruce Wayne arrived by the end of the episode, his work with the Justice League seemingly done for the time being. Of course, few need to be reminded that Batman/Bruce Wayne is a founding member of the Justice League in the comics.

Are you looking forward to seeing more of Iain Glen’s Bruce Wayne in the future? Were you disappointed that we didn’t see more of Iain Glen in the season 2 premiere? Are you hoping that some Justice League heroes might also make their debut on Titans one day? Here is the official synopsis for Titans season 2:

In Season 2, following the aftermath of their encounter with Trigon, Dick reforms the Titans. Under his supervision in their new home at Titans Tower, Rachel, Gar and Jason Todd train together to hone their hero abilities and work together as a team. They are joined by Hank Hall and Dawn Granger aka Hawk and Dove and Donna Troy aka Wonder Girl. Although these original Titans attempt to transition into a regular life, when old enemies resurface everyone must come together to take care of unfinished business. And as this family of old and new Titans – including Conner Kent and Rose Wilson – learn to co-exist, the arrival of Deathstroke brings to light the sins of the old Titans which threaten to tear this new Titans family apart once more.

Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Richard “Dick” Grayson / Robin, Anna Diop as Koriand’r / Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth / Raven, and Ryan Potter as Garfield “Gar” Logan / Beast Boy. The series is also making a few additions for its sophomore outing, with Joshua Orpin and Esai Morales playing Superboy and Deathstroke, respectively, while Chella Man and Chelsea Zhang have also joined Titans as Deathstroke’s children. Natalie Gumede has signed on to play Mercy Graves and Game of Thrones star Iain Glen is on board as Bruce Wayne, a.k.a. Batman.

Titans season two is now airing on DC Universe.
