The Joker Seems To Meet His Demise In Trailer For ‘Titans’ Season Finale

Joker Batman Titans

The trailer for the Titans season one finale features a shocking moment that seems to suggest the brutal murder of the Joker at the hands of Batman.

Titans has teased many of the biggest icons in the DC pantheon but hasn’t actually shown many of them in full just yet, outside of the key cast members. Batman, Joker, and Wonder Woman are only a few of the namedrops throughout the season and now two of those names will finally be arriving on camera in the series next week.

The tenth episode of Titans premiered today and now fans can get a look at what next week’s episode, the season finale, has to offer. You can check out the trailer here and as you’ll see, Batman’s finally arrived and he’s leaving a trail of bodies in his wake. This causes Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) to pursue the caped crusader and put an end to his killing spree, one of the victims being the iconic villain the Joker. The clown prince of crime has been the villain in Batman’s Rogues Gallery that tests his will to not kill the most. It was most iconically explored in the comic book The Killing Joke.

Revealing in the trailer that Batman has murdered several villains, including the Clown Prince of Crime, truly sets up a very fresh take on the character. It’s important to note that the trailer shows the villain on his face with no real context to what’s going on, so it’s possible that this isn’t really the Joker. It’s also very possible that Batman is just being framed for these murders Daredevil season 3 style, and eventually, he will team with the Titans to find the true villain behind what’s going on.

It looks like fans will have to continue to speculate on the shocking image until the season finale hits the DC Universe streaming service next Friday, December 21st.
