‘Titans’: Live-Action Series Adds Teagan Croft As Raven

Deadline reports Greg Berlanti’s live-action Titans series has added Australian actress Teagan Croft in the role of Raven.

Officially, the 13-year old actresses character has been described as the daughter of a demon and a powerful empath who must keep her emotions in check or risk unleashing her demonic side. In addition to Raven, the series is set to feature Dick Grayson (Nightwing), Rachel Roth (Raven), Garfield Logan (Beast Boy), and Koriand’r (Starfire), with other heroes possibly appearing as well.

The series written by Akiva Goldsman (Star Trek: Discovery), DC chief creative officer Geoff Johns (The Flash, Arrow) and Berlanti (Arrow, DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow, The Flash, Supergirl) follows a group of young superheroes from all over the DC Universe when Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of the fearless band of new heroes known as the Titans.

The long in development live-action series adaptation of the Teen Titans comes from Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. Goldsman, Johns and Berlanti Prods’ Berlanti and Sarah Schechter serve as exec producers.

Titans explores one of the most popular comic book teams ever. It follows a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven and others.”

Titans is set to premiere sometime in 2018 with 13-episodes and will be one of the first series to launch the DC-branded direct-to-consumer digital service.
