Sony’s animated Spider-Man movie featuring Miles Morales now has an official title, and a trailer is coming soon.
The film’s trailer has been rated by Alberta Film Ratings and with it, we now have the title. The film, which is written by Phil Lord and Chris Miller is now titled Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. The studio is making a presentation at Sao Paolo CCXP Comic-Con, and it is possible we see the trailer released then.

In the comics, Miles Morales is an African-American teenager who goes by the identity of Spider-Man who was created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Sara Pichelli.
Directed by Bob Persichetti and Peter Ramsey, Into The Spider-Verse will feature the voice talents of The Get Down star Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, X-Men Origins: Wolverine star Liev Schrieber as a yet-to-be-revealed villain, Atlanta star Brian Tyree Henry as Jefferson Davis, and Moonlight star Mahershala Ali as Aaron Davis, a.ka. the Prowler.
Into The Spider-Verse is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 14, 2018.
