‘Deadpool’ Star T. J. Miller Boards ‘Ready Player One’

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Deadpool star T. J. Miller is the latest addition to the cast of Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One film adaptation. According to the report, Miller has been cast in the role of i-R0k, who is an internet troll that likes to piss people off in the forums of the game. I don’t think that they could have found a better actor for this particular role.

The character had a relatively small role in Ernest Cline’s sci-fi novel, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a much bigger presence in the movie. Miller joins a cast which so far includes Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, Ben Mendelsohn, Simon Pegg and Mark Rylance. The project is expected to start filming later this month.

The story follows a teenager named Wade (Sheridan) who goes up against several other players in a virtual world called OASIS while looking for an Easter egg which was hidden somewhere within the game by its deceased creator, James Halliday (Rylance).

What do you guys think? Are you looking forward to seeing Miller playing an internet troll? Sound-off your thoughts on the news in the comment section below.
