Director Christopher McQuarrie teased three dangerous stunts from Tom Cruise in the upcoming Mission: Impossible sequels.

The Mission: Impossible films may be best known for the death-defying stunts Tom Cruise performs himself, each one seemingly more dangerous than the last. With at least two more installments in the Mission: Impossible film series on the way, fans are eager to see what Tom Cruise has planned to outdo himself this time.

During an interview on the Empire Podcast, Mission: Impossible 7 and 8 director Christopher McQuarrie teased three stunts more dangerous than the previous ones from Tom Cruise in the sequels. While McQuarrie did not divulge details on the stunts, he did note that they will make the helicopter chase in Mission: Impossible – Fallout look like “tinker toys”:

“We’ve figured out three obscene things that he’s doing that I’m terrified of, that make the helicopter chase [in Fallout] look like tinker toys. [Cruise is] training and he calls me and describes what he’s doing and I laugh and I cheer, then I hang up and I puke into a bucket. He’s training quite intensely right now.”
