Tom Cruise teases the release dates for the two upcoming Mission: Impossible sequels coming from director Christopher McQuarrie.
It was announced tonight McQuarrie is set to return in the director’s chair for Mission: Impossible franchise in his third and fourth film. The upcoming sequels will shoot back-to-back like the Avatar and Avengers films.McQuarrie’s first two Mission: Impossible films received both critical acclaim and box office success.
The upcoming sequels are hitting theaters summer 2021 and summer 2022 and Cruise took to Twitter to tease the release dates with a brief promo video:

Christopher McQuarrie returned to not only write and direct but also produced Fallout along with Cruise, Don Granger, and J.J. Abrams alongside David Ellison and Dana Goldberg of Skydance Productions.
