UPDATE: Tom Hardy has since removed the post confirming Andy Serkis as the director of the Venom sequel.
Venom star Tom Hardy seemingly confirms Andy Serkis as the director of the upcoming Marvel film from Sony in a recent Instagram post.
After the huge success of Venom, a sequel was quickly put in development by Sony. However, Ruben Fleischer will not be returning to direct due to his commitment to Zombieland: Double Tap. Reports from last week claimed Andy Serkis, Travis Knight, and Rupert Wyatt all met with Sony to discuss the upcoming sequel. Well, it now appears that Andy Serkis might be the man for the job because Tom Hardy just posted an image of the actor turned director.
