‘Venom’ Star Tom Hardy Becomes The MCU’s Wolverine To Succeed Hugh Jackman In New Fan Art

Venom star Tom Hardy transforms into Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine successor in an awesome new fan edit that envisions the future of the MCU.

Though Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. walked away from the MCU after 10 years, Hugh Jackman played the iconic X-Men hero Wolverine for an inspiring 17 years. Disney and Marvel Studios have a very difficult decision to make when it comes to finding an actor to replace Jackman when they reboot the X-Men franchise on the silver screen. Another question in regards to the future of the MCU is how connected will it be to Sony’s Universe of Marvel Characters featuring Spider-Man villains like Venom and Morbius.

The first Morbius trailer surprisingly revealed that Michael Keaton’s Adrian Toomes will make an appearance in the film, so this could mean that Tom Hardy is now the MCU’s Venom. While it isn’t unheard for actors to play multiple roles in the MCU, Hardy is still the fan-favorite to succeed Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. A new concept design from a digital artist known as “Mizuri” on Instagram depicts Hardy with the classic blue and gray Wolverine suit that Jackman never actually got the chance to don on the big screen. You can check out the Wolverine edit below.

What do you think of the design featuring Tom Hardy as Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine replacement? Are you excited to see Marvel Studios introduce Wolverine to the MCU? Sound-off in the comment section!
