A new rumor points to the Squadron Supreme appearing in Tom Hiddleston’s upcoming Loki series for Disney Plus.
Not much is known about Tom Hiddleston’s Loki other than the series centering on the God of Mischief with the Tesseract from the alternate timeline created in Avengers: Endgame. Based on the Loki footage shown in the Marvel Studios Super Bowl spot, we also know that the Time Variance Authority may have a role in the series as well.
Bleeding Cool has heard that the Squadron Supreme might be making their Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Loki as well based on comics ordered from the production team of the series. The Squadron Supreme first appeared in The Avengers #85 in 1971 and were created by Roy Thomas and John Buscema. The Squadron Supreme are a supervillain team that have gone through several lineups over the years and closely resemble DC’s Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, and others. The original team consisted of Hyperion, Nighthawk, Doctor Spectrum, Power Princess, and the Whizzer.
