Spider-Man Tom Holland Captain America

It was recently confirmed that Robert Downey Jr. would have a role in next year’s Spider-Man: Homecoming but that’s not the only Avenger that star Tom Holland wants to make an appearance. While speaking with MTV, Tom Holland commented on the subject as well as the difference between his Spider-Man and previous incarnations of the character.

“You’re really gonna get to see a kid with superpowers. And one of the nicest things about [Captain America: Civil War] is that you see a real kid reacting to Avengers just how a real kid would, and that’s exactly how I reacted. That’s one of the main differences.”

On the matter of other characters that he’d like to make an appearance in the film, Tom Holland stated the following.

“I really like Iron Man, he’s obviously my favorite. I’d like Cap to show up at some point. I think that would be really cool if he did.”

We’ll have to wait and see if Tom Holland gets his wish and director Jon Watts & the film’s screenwriters John Francis Daley & Jonathan M. Goldstein find a way to decide to include the character. Would you like to see Chris Evans make an appearance in the film as well? Sound off with your thoughts on the subject in the comments below.
