During an appearance on Netflix’s The Chef Show, Tom Holland revealed he began work on Captain America: Civil War just four days after landing the role of Spider-Man.

After Marvel Studio and Sony announced the landmark deal that would see the companies co-producing new Spider-Man films set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a worldwide search was launched to find a young actor to portray the MCU’s version of the wall-crawler in time for the character’s debut in Captain America: Civil War. Eventually, Tom Holland was cast as the new Spider-Man, but the actor had little time in between landing the role and arriving on set to being work in third Captain America film.

While sitting down for dinner with Jon Favreau, chef Roy Choi, Robert Downey Jr., Kevin Feige, and the Russo Brothers in an episode of The Chef Show, Tom Holland was asked by the Marvel Studios president if he could recall how fast he started working on Captain America: Civil War after landing the Spider-Man role, to which the actor replied:

“It was like four days or something like that.”

While the rest of the dinner guests seemed to be surprised by Tom Holland’s response, Kevin Feige affirmed the Captain America: Civil War star’s comment by saying it was the “fastest turnaround ever.”
