Entertainment Weekly has revealed a brand new image from Spider-Man: Far From Home, featuring both the wall-crawler himself, Tom Holland and Jake Gyllenhaal as the villainous Mysterio.

Introduced in The Amazing Spider-Man #13, best incarnation of Mysterio is a special effects wizard named Quentin Beck and the character has been a frequent foe for the web-head since his debut.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, director Jon Watts offered fans a little of what they can expect from the new film when Spider-Man: Far From From swings into theaters this July:

“Peter’s ready for a vacation at the beginning of this movie, to say the least. This film is about the world telling him, ‘It’s time for you to step up and grow up, kid,’ and he’s saying, ‘But I still want to be a kid and go on vacation.’”

Watts  also dished on Jake Gyllenhaal’s role as Mysterio, revealing what kind of dynamic he’ll share with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man:

“If Tony Stark was sort of the mentor in the previous films, we thought it would be interesting to play Mysterio as almost like the cool uncle.”
