From 2011 to 2014, select Marvel Blu-Rays and digital releases included short films known as One-Shots. These brief self-contained stories gave fans an extra treat and an extra glimpse into parts of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to one Marvel star, One-Shots could soon be making a comeback.
While speaking with Uproxx about Spider-Man: Homecoming, Tom Holland (Spider-Man) expressed interest in seeing Ant-Man show up โevery now and againโ in future Spider-Man films. As he was talking, Holland said he wanted to do a short with Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) and teased that One-Shots could be returning.
After Tom Holland said, โI want to do a short. Thatโs what I want to do. I want to do a 20-minute short with me and Paul Ruddโฆโ Uproxx writer Mike Ryan mentioned to the actor that they used to do shorts like that, referencing the One-Shots. To this, Holland said: โYeah. I think they are planning on doing it again,โ before adding, โI probably just spoiled a big spoiler. Kevin Feigeโs probably going to be furious.โ
