Tom Holland To Voice Spider-Man For Disneyland’s Avengers Campus

Tom Holland will provide the voice of Spider-Man for a ride at Disneyland’s Avengers Campus.

After Disney and Sony signed the landmark deal to would allow Marvel Studios’ to co-produce new Spider-Man film and include the wall-crawler in its own MCU projects, the search for a new actor to portray the web-slinger was quickly underway. After an extensive search, Tom Holland eventually landed the coveted role and made his first appearance as Spider-Man in Marvel Studios’ Captain Amerca: Civil War.

Since then, Tom Holland has reprised his role in two standalone Spider-Man films, two Avengers features, and now he will lend his voice to a theme park ride featured at Disneyland’s Avengers Campus. The ride in question will be called “WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure” and is built on the premise of Peter Parking joining a group of young like-minded inventors at a place called the Worldwide Engineering Brigade, where an invention named the Spider-Bot multiplies and causes chaos.

The Avengers are setting up new Headquarters and training facilities around the globe to inspire all potential recruits willing to step up and become something more. As part of this global initiative, Tony Stark has founded the Worldwide Engineering Brigade — or WEB for short — to develop advancements in super-powered technology, including new enhancements to Spider-Man’s suit as their debut project. By bringing together the world’s brightest young inventors, the WEB is creating new interfaces that will empower all of us to join the ranks of Earth’s Mightiest.

Avengers Campus officially opens in Disneyland on July 18th, 2020.
